Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed participants at the Pali Saansad Khel Mahakumbh through a video message, commending their sporting talents. He extended best wishes to players, coaches, and families, highlighting the valuable lessons sports offer.

Emphasizing the role of sports in youth and national development, PM Modi praised the enthusiasm seen in the Saansad Khel Mahakumbh, aligning with the government’s sports initiatives. The event, hosting over 2 lakh athletes, is not only a platform for talent but also a means to scout and nurture new prospects.

Acknowledging the exceptional exposure for athletes, PM Modi congratulated MP P.P. Choudhary for his efforts. He expressed confidence in Rajasthan’s youth, urging them to carry forward their legacy of achievements in various fields.

PM Modi stressed the transformative power of sports, promoting personal development and steering youth away from vices. He highlighted the government’s commitment to youth welfare, citing a threefold increase in the sports budget, financial assistance to athletes, and the establishment of sports centers nationwide.

Sharing updates on the Khelo India games, PM Modi mentioned assistance to over 3,000 athletes and training for lakhs in Khelo India centers. He praised Indian athletes for their record-breaking performance at the Asian Games.

Underscoring the youth focus in the Union Budget, PM Modi mentioned investments in modern infrastructure and initiatives like tax relief for startups. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to youth empowerment through employment opportunities, entrepreneurship, and skill development.

PM Modi highlighted developmental projects in Pali, including roads, railway stations, bridges, educational and IT centers, contributing to the overall well-being of the people.
