Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina on Thursday morning at Ganabhaban.
Vinay Kwatra arrived at Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs to call on Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud after his courtesy call to the Bangladesh Prime Minister. Here he will also hold a meeting with his Bangladesh counterpart Masud-Bin-Momen. During the meeting, they will likely discuss the entire range of bilateral relationships including political and security, water, trade and investment, power and energy, defence, connectivity, and sub-regional cooperation.
Kwatra arrived here in Dhaka on Wednesday evening on a two-day official visit to Bangladesh.
On his arrival here by a special flight, he was received by the Director General (South Asia) of Bangladesh Foreign Ministry ATM Rokebul Haque and High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Pranay Verma, among others.
