Gautam Adani praises MahaKumbh management as a subject of study for management institutes

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani praised the Uttar Pradesh administration for its outstanding management of the MahaKumbh Mela during his visit to Prayagraj on Tuesday.

Adani highlighted the meticulous organization of the event, describing it as a remarkable example of efficient administration that should serve as a case study for management institutes and corporate houses. He lauded the efforts of police personnel and sanitation workers who ensure seamless arrangements for millions of visitors.

Speaking on the scale of the operations, Adani said, “The way millions of people are accommodated, and the manner in which the arrangements are maintained, is a subject worthy of study for management institutes and corporate houses. There is nothing greater than receiving the blessings of Maa Ganga.”

Adani also emphasized Uttar Pradesh’s immense potential for growth, citing its population of 27 crore as a significant resource for development. He reiterated the Adani Group’s commitment to increasing investments in the state and contributing to its progress.

On a personal note, Adani shared details about his son Jeet Adani’s upcoming wedding, scheduled for February 7. He revealed that the ceremony would be simple and steeped in traditional values, reflecting the family’s modest approach. “Our activities are like common people. Jeet’s marriage will be very simple and in a proper traditional way,” he said.

Earlier in the day, Adani and his family offered prayers and performed an aarti at the Triveni Sangam. As part of the MahaKumbh Mela, the Adani Group partnered with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) for the Mahaprasad Seva initiative, aimed at feeding up to 50 lakh devotees.

The initiative, which will continue until February 26, 2025, involves two large kitchens located within and outside the Mela area. Meals will be distributed across 40 locations to ensure devotees are well-served during the event.
