PM Modi interacts with Republic Day parade participants, highlights vision for Viksit Bharat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with NCC Cadets, NSS Volunteers, Tribal Guests, and Tableaux Artists participating in the upcoming Republic Day parade. The interaction, held at his residence on Lok Kalyan Marg, was marked by an informal, engaging dialogue where the Prime Minister answered questions and shared his vision for a developed India, or Viksit Bharat.

During the interaction, PM Modi stressed the importance of national unity and diversity, urging participants to engage with people from different states to uphold the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. He underscored the significance of learning from failures and maintaining the determination to succeed. “Never be scared of failure. There should be a spirit to learn from failure; whoever learns from failure achieves success,” he remarked.

When asked about his inspiration, the Prime Minister said he draws strength from the hard work and dedication of India’s farmers and soldiers. “I see farmers and feel how hard they work. I see soldiers standing guard at the borders for hours and think I don’t deserve the right to rest,” he said. PM Modi also attributed his disciplined lifestyle and habit of waking up early as keys to his productivity.

He highlighted the importance of fulfilling one’s duties as a responsible citizen to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat. The Prime Minister encouraged youth to register on the My Bharat Portal and actively contribute to nation-building. He also emphasized good habits such as discipline, punctuality, and diary writing.

PM Modi outlined several government initiatives, including schemes aimed at empowering women, such as the creation of 3 crore Lakhpati Didis. A participant shared a personal story about his mother, whose products gained international markets through these schemes. The Prime Minister also praised the role of affordable data rates in transforming connectivity under the Digital India campaign.

On the issue of cleanliness, he reiterated that if 140 crore Indians commit to maintaining cleanliness, “India will always remain Swachh.” He also promoted the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam initiative, urging people to plant trees dedicated to their mothers. Additionally, he encouraged everyone to participate in the Fit India Movement by incorporating yoga and fitness into their daily routines for a healthier nation.

The Prime Minister also engaged with foreign participants, who expressed their joy in attending the program. They praised India’s hospitality and shared positive experiences of their visits.
