India is reinforcing its position as a global technology and electronics powerhouse at GITEX Global Dubai 2025, with the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) leading a strong delegation of 100 Indian companies. The India Pavilion with 237 companies is spread across multiple thematic halls, highlighting the country’s growing capabilities in electronics manufacturing, innovation, and ICT exports.
The participating companies, many of them MSMEs and export-ready startups , are exhibiting a broad spectrum of cutting-edge solutions in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), smart mobility, and digital infrastructure. Their presence underscores India’s drive to expand its footprint in global tech supply chains and tap new export markets through Dubai’s strategic gateway.
“GITEX serves as a powerful platform for Indian companies to showcase their capabilities, explore partnerships, and expand into new geographies,” said Veer Sagar, Chairman of ESC. “Our exhibitors represent India’s growing competitiveness in high-value segments like semiconductors, embedded systems, and digital services.”
“ESC’s participation at GITEX reflects the strength and scale of India’s electronics and ICT sectors,” said Gurmeet Singh, Executive Director and CEO of ESC. “We are enabling Indian enterprises, particularly MSMEs, to connect with global buyers and position their innovations on the world stage. This initiative supports our long-term mission of promoting India as a trusted source for electronics and technology solutions.”
India’s electronics exports to the UAE reached US$ 3.7 billion in FY 2024–25, making the Emirates the country’s second-largest destination for electronics hardware. The UAE’s strong logistics infrastructure and central location have made it a critical hub for Indian exporters aiming to access markets across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
India-UAE trade has crossed US$ 100 billion in FY 2024–25, with electronics emerging as a key driver of bilateral growth. Recent trade enablers such as the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and the Local Currency Settlement System , which facilitates transactions in INR and AED, are expected to further accelerate technology and electronics exports.
“India’s trade with the UAE continues to grow rapidly, and the electronics sector is at the forefront of this expansion,” said Kamal Vachani, Regional Director, ESC (Dubai). “Dubai’s connectivity and investor ecosystem offer unmatched advantages for Indian exporters looking to scale globally. The India Pavilion at GITEX reflects this synergy.”
Supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, ESC’s participation at GITEX Global 2025 is part of a broader strategy to enhance India’s global competitiveness and establish the country as a leading supplier of electronics and ICT solutions to the world.
