The Embassy of India in Doha, in collaboration with the Indian Pharmacists Association Qatar (IPhAQ) and the Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC) Qatar, is presenting India’s healthcare expertise at the Qatar Medicare Exhibition 2025. Held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) from November 11 to 13, 2025, the event features an Indian Pavilion highlighting the country’s achievements in pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and healthcare innovation.
India’s participation emphasizes its role as the Pharmacy of the World, with pharmaceutical exports reaching USD 30.46 billion in FY 2024–25. The sector is projected to grow to USD 130 billion by 2030, as the Indian healthcare ecosystem continues to expand its global presence through innovation, affordability, and quality-driven growth.
The Pavilion showcases four Indian companies, Chennai Fertility Center, Nobel Hygiene Pvt. Ltd., Healthium Medtech, and Bharat Medical Systems, representing India’s diverse healthcare capabilities, from advanced fertility treatments and surgical solutions to hygiene and medical device technologies. Several Indian-owned healthcare companies based in Qatar are also participating, reflecting the strong professional and people-to-people ties between India and Qatar in the health sector.
The Pavilion was inaugurated by Mr. Sandeep Kumar, Deputy Chief of Mission. The Embassy’s participation at Qatar Medicare 2025 reinforces India’s position as a trusted global healthcare partner and aims to facilitate new avenues of cooperation in medical innovation, AI-driven healthcare, and sustainable health solutions, further strengthening the India–Qatar partnership.
