Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan began his visit to the United Arab Emirates with a meeting in Abu Dhabi with Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Government of UAE.

Sheikh Nahyan welcomed the Chief Minister and his delegation, noting that the UAE’s strong and growing partnership with India reflects the vision of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. “The relationship between our two nations continues to build bridges of cooperation and friendship while deepening the values of tolerance and coexistence,” he said.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration across key sectors to advance shared development goals and expand future partnerships. Sheikh Nahyan praised the role of Indian entrepreneurs and investors in contributing to the UAE’s economic progress and reiterated the country’s commitment to fostering a supportive environment for innovation and prosperity.
Chief Minister Vijayan thanked Sheikh Nahyan for his warm hospitality and expressed appreciation for the UAE’s continued care for the Indian community. During his stay, Vijayan will meet members of the Malayali diaspora and attend the ‘Malayalam Festival’ at the Abu Dhabi City Golf Club.
