Global Village welcomed 2026 with a large-scale New Year’s Eve celebration featuring seven fireworks displays and coordinated drone shows marking midnight moments across seven countries. The multicultural destination said the celebrations drew families and visitors who gathered to witness the sky lit up in a series of synchronised spectacles.
A live DJ performance at the main stage set the tone for the night, while roaming entertainers performed across the park. Extended operating hours allowed guests to spend the final hours of 2025 exploring more than 90 cultures represented across 30 pavilions, shopping at over 3,500 outlets and dining at more than 250 venues across key food streets and the floating market.
Global Village is the region’s premier multicultural family destination for entertainment, dining, shopping, and attractions. Part of Dubai Holding Entertainment, it continues to grow in popularity and maintain a deep connection with its guests, reinforcing its status as the region’s number one entertainment and cultural hub. Since opening its gates in 1997, Global Village has welcomed over 100 million guests, with Season 29 alone setting a new record by attracting 10.5 million visitors.
