UAE | Dubai | Ayush Ministry | AYUSH conference

Third international AYUSH conference to be held in Dubai in February

Dubai will host the third international AYUSH conference and exhibition from February 15 to 17, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together practitioners, researchers, policymakers, industry representatives and students of traditional systems of medicine from more than 35 countries. The event is being organised by Science India Forum in association with the World Ayurveda Foundation, under the patronage of India’s ministry of AYUSH and the consulate general of India in Dubai, with support from the Global Homeopathic Foundation, the Emirates Ayurveda Graduates Association and other AYUSH organisations from America, Australia, the Far East, West Asia and Africa. Ministerial-level participation from the Government of India is expected.

The conference is themed “Evidence based AYUSH interventions in mind-body health” and aims to promote AYUSH as a recognised healthcare system. It will include about 75 invited talks, 250 oral presentations, 200 poster sessions and a short film festival on AYUSH systems of medicine. More than 1,200 delegates are expected to attend. Addressing a press conference, the organisers said the event would strengthen cooperation between India and the UAE in traditional complementary and alternative medicine and medical tourism. They noted that ayurveda, Unani, homeopathy and naturopathy have been approved medical systems in the UAE since 2002.

An international exhibition of AYUSH pharmaceutical products, consumer goods, service providers, educational institutions and research organisations will run alongside the conference and will be open to the public free of charge. An international delegate assembly will also be held on February 15, with expected participation from World Health Organization representatives, regulators and policymakers in traditional and complementary medicine, as well as industry leaders. The organisers said the conference would explore possibilities for government-to-government cooperation and potential bilateral agreements between India and the UAE in A YUSH research, education and green medicine, while also promoting investment and trade in AYUSH products and services.
