The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination across the United Arab Emirates tomorrow. The test will be held in pen-and-paper mode at three designated centres. The Indian High School in Dubai, Sharjah Indian School in Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi Indian School in Abu Dhabi.
The UAE remains the largest NEET examination destination outside India, with a total of 2,214 candidates expected to appear for the re-examination on June 21. This marks an increase from the 2,028 candidates who appeared for the original examination held on May 3. According to figures released by the authorities, 885 candidates are expected to take the re-examination at The Indian High School in Dubai, compared to 825 candidates in the earlier test. Sharjah Indian School will host 768 candidates, up from 701 in May, while Abu Dhabi Indian School will see 561 candidates appear, compared to 502 previously.The examination will be conducted from 12:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. UAE time. Candidates have been advised to report well in advance, as the main entrance gates of the examination centres will open at 9:30 a.m.
Speaking to Prasar Bharati, Consul General of India at Dubai Shri Satish Kumar Sivan, said:
“We have worked closely with the National Testing Agency and our partner schools here in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi to ensure a seamless and highly secure testing environment for tomorrow’s re-examination. Given that the UAE hosts the largest contingent of NEET candidates outside India, our primary focus is to provide these 2,214 students with a stress-free experience.We strongly urge all candidates to double-check their admit cards, closely adhere to the NTA’s prescribed dress code, and report to their designated centres well ahead of the 12:00 p.m. gate closure to avoid any last-minute hurdles.”
The NTA has asked all candidates to download their admit cards from the official NEET website and carry the required photographs along with a valid identity document. Candidates have also been advised to adhere to the prescribed dress code and regularly check the NTA and NEET websites for the latest updates regarding the examination.
