The Office of the Principal Controller of Communication Accounts (Pr. CCA), Delhi, on Tuesday organised a Pension Adalat for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27, providing a platform for addressing grievances of pensioners and family pensioners.
The Pension Adalat was held under the chairmanship of Joint Controller of Communication Accounts (Pension) Rajat Tripathi, with Assistant Controller of Communication Accounts (Pension) Shyam Lal Das also participating in the proceedings.
Grievances raised by pensioners of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) and the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) were heard and addressed. Issues related to pension payment, commutation and other retirement benefits were taken up during the session.
According to an official statement, matters concerning pension authorisation, revision, family pension and other pension-related issues were examined. Several cases were resolved during the proceedings, while the remaining grievances were taken up for expeditious action.
The Pension Adalat served as an effective mechanism for redressing the concerns of pensioners and family pensioners and ensuring timely resolution of pending issues.
