PM Modi thanks leaders for wishes, underscores 12 years of reform and governance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed gratitude to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla ,Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh Narayan Singh and Political Leaders for their warm wishes, stating that the occasion inspires renewed dedication towards building a developed, self-reliant and prosperous India under the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”.

In his response to Om Birla, the Prime Minister said that India’s historic democratic milestone reflects the blessings and affection of the people and reaffirmed the collective resolve to strengthen the journey towards national development. He also expressed gratitude for the wishes and support extended by the Lok Sabha Speaker.

In his message to Deputy Chairman Harivansh, PM Modi thanked him for his greetings and said the occasion gives renewed inspiration to serve the nation with greater commitment, loyalty and dedication, reiterating the government’s focus on inclusive and all-round development.

The Prime Minister also shared a series of articles on social media platform X, noting that they offer meaningful reflections on India’s governance journey and transformation over the past 12 years. Sharing an article by Union Minister Piyush Goyal, he highlighted its emphasis on reform, effective delivery and people-centric governance that has strengthened welfare delivery, financial inclusion, women-led development, entrepreneurship and infrastructure growth.

Sharing the views of former Bihar Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Nitish Kumar, the Prime Minister noted the emphasis on governance translating into tangible outcomes for citizens and accelerating inclusive development while reflecting on India’s democratic journey.

Referring to an article by Rajya Sabha MP Nitin Nabin, he said it underlines the role of collective resolve and citizen participation in accelerating India’s progress towards a developed nation.

Sharing the perspective of veteran statesman Karan Singh, PM Modi said the article highlights transformative changes across welfare delivery, education, healthcare, infrastructure and India’s global engagement, and the strengthening of public confidence in governance.

Referring to views expressed by columnist Suhel Seth, the Prime Minister noted the description of governance as a “mass movement powered by dignity and delivery”, reflecting the broader shift in administrative approach and public service delivery.

Sharing an article by journalist and author Ajay Singh, PM Modi said it highlights his becoming India’s longest-serving democratically elected Prime Minister in consecutive terms and acknowledges welfare schemes aimed at empowering vulnerable sections of society and addressing key public concerns.

The Prime Minister, while sharing all the articles, expressed gratitude to the authors for their perspectives and said such reflections reinforce the commitment to continue working with greater energy for the progress of the nation.
