Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed grief over the demise of Bhavnaben Patel, wife of Prabhulbhai Patel, Administrator of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, “Saddened by the news of the death of Smt. Bhavanaben Patel, wife of Shri Prafulbhai Patel, Administrator of Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. I have had a close acquaintance and cordial relationship with this family for years. In this hour of grief, I offer my heartfelt condolences to the family and pray that the Almighty grants peace to the departed soul. Om Shanti….!!!”
Union Minister of State Kirti Vardhan Singh also extended his condolences to the bereaved family.
In a post on X, he said, “Deeply saddened by the demise of Smt. Bhavnaben Patel, wife of Shri Prabhulbhai Patel, Administrator of the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Lakshadweep. Heartfelt condolences to the family. May her soul rest in peace. Om Shanti.”
