The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi has launched a dedicated online appointment portal for Passport, Visa and Attestation (CPV) services to facilitate applicants across the UAE. The services are currently being provided directly at the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai on an appointment basis due to administrative reasons.
Applicants can now book appointments through the online portal: https://book.passportindiauae.com. Appointments for the next working day will be released every evening at 8:00 PM. Applicants with confirmed appointments will be allowed entry 15 minutes before their scheduled time. To avoid overcrowding, only applicants will be permitted inside the Embassy and Consulate premises, except in the case of minor applicants, where both parents are required to be present.
At the Embassy in Abu Dhabi, applicants seeking CPV services should enter through the Main Gate on Al Safarat Street, while all consular queries, including document delivery, will be handled at the Consular Wing, Unit No. 101, 1st Floor, Guardian Tower (Technip Building), Al Ishirah Street. In Dubai, applicants must enter the Consulate General through Gate No. 1, and no walk-in applications will be accepted.
However, the Embassy in Abu Dhabi will continue to provide limited walk-in services from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with priority accorded to newborn cases and Emergency Certificate applications.
The Embassy has advised applicants to arrive with fully completed application forms and supporting documents. Passport application forms can be filled online at https://mportal.passportindia.gov.in/mission/. Applicants have also been reminded to carefully read the instructions before uploading photographs, signatures or thumb impressions with a clear white background. The applicable fees will be accepted only in cash, and applicants have been advised to carry the exact amount. The revised passport fee structure, effective from July 1, 2026, will apply.
