President Droupadi Murmu on Monday accepted the credentials of the newly appointed envoys of six countries at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
According to the President’s Secretariat, the envoys who presented their credentials represented Mozambique, Nicaragua, Suriname, Gabon, Mongolia and The Bahamas.
The dignitaries who presented their credentials were:
1. Armando Pedro Muiuane Junior, High Commissioner of the Republic of Mozambique.
2. Nadeska Imara Cuthbert Carlson, Ambassador of the Republic of Nicaragua.
3. Hanisha Jairam, Ambassador of the Republic of Suriname.
4. Aurelien-Marcel Mintsa Nguema, High Commissioner of the Gabonese Republic.
5. Ulziit Luvsanjav, Ambassador of Mongolia.
6. Peter Nicholas Symonette, High Commissioner of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
The presentation of credentials formally marks the commencement of the envoys’ diplomatic responsibilities in India and is an established diplomatic protocol in bilateral relations.
