Rajya Sabha MP and former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his office chamber in Parliament House.
Sharing details of the meeting on X, Nitish said, “Today, I paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, at his office in Parliament House, New Delhi.”
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) also acknowledged the meeting in a post on X, stating, “Rajya Sabha MP Shri Nitish Kumar Ji met PM Narendra Modi earlier today.”
The meeting comes days after Nitish entered the Rajya Sabha, ending his long tenure as Bihar CM. Nitish was administered the oath as a member of the Rajya Sabha by Vice President and Chairman of the Upper House, C.P. Radhakrishnan, on April 10, 2026.
