Global Confidence growing in Madhya Pradesh, more investors expressing interest in the State: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in Dubai

On day 2 and 3 of his UAE Visit, Madhya Pradesh Chief MInister Dr. Mohan Yadav held multiple one-to-one meetings with leading policymakers and entrepreneurs in Dubai, pitching investment opportunities in the state. He met Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, UAE’s Minister of Economy and Tourism, and discussed investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh. The meeting covered deliberations on enhancing cooperation in various sectors, including hotels and hospitality, aviation, mining, textiles, forests, and SEZs. The UAE Minister expressed agreement to send an investment delegation from Dubai to Madhya Pradesh to explore opportunities in the hotels and hospitality sector. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also extended a formal invitation to him for participation in the upcoming Global Investors Summit (GIS).

Dr. Yadav also held a series of meetings with UAE-based business groups and investors covering a wide range of sectors, including modern retail, food processing, logistics, warehousing, cold chain, infrastructure, energy, technology, healthcare and education. Discussions also focused on improving market access for Madhya Pradesh’s agricultural products and strengthening supply chains and exports.

The Chief Minister met Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, discussing investment, industrial expansion and stronger trade ties between the UAE and Madhya Pradesh. The prominent business leaders the Chief Minister met included Lulu Group CMD Yusuff Ali, DP World’s Rizwan Soomar, Badr Jafar of of Crescent Enterprises and Siddharth Balachandran of Buimerc Corporation. He also held discussions with senior representatives of Sharaf Group, GEMS Education, Rana Holdings, PureHealth, VFS Global and Choithram Group, besides meeting.

LuLu Group has indicated that it will undertake a location survey in Madhya Pradesh, while DP World discussed developments around the Powarkheda Logistics Composite Hub. Other discussions covered logistics parks, retail and cold-chain networks, healthcare, education, visa services, data centres, renewable energy and technology.

The Chief Minister also invited the business leaders to participate in the Global Investors Summit 2027 in Madhya Pradesh. He said the state is seeing growing global confidence, with more investors expressing interest compared to the previous investment outreach.
