Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a telephone call from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Friday, with the two leaders discussing measures to further strengthen the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
During the conversation, the UAE President conveyed warm birthday greetings to PM Modi.
The two leaders discussed new measures to further deepen bilateral cooperation across key areas, including energy, defence, technology, investment and health.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also congratulated PM Modi on India’s successful BRICS Presidency.
PM Modi appreciated the participation of UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled in the BRICS Summit and expressed appreciation for the UAE’s cooperation and partnership in achieving substantive outcomes under India’s Presidency.
India, UAE reaffirm commitment to peace and stability in West Asia
The two leaders also exchanged views on developments in West Asia.
During their conversation, they reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation and coordination in efforts aimed at promoting peace, security and stability in the region.
