Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the loss of lives in a road accident in Jharkhand’s Khunti district and extended condolences to the bereaved families.
According to the Khunti Superintendent of Police (SP), a speeding truck ran over several people who had gathered at the scene following an accident involving a scooter rider.
In a post shared by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on X, PM Modi expressed sorrow over the incident and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured.
“Deeply pained by the loss of lives in a mishap in Khunti, Jharkhand. I extend my condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured,” the Prime Minister said.
