Several chief ministers and Union ministers, including Amit Shah, witnessed the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple through a live broadcast as the Ram Lalla idol was unveiled in the newly constructed temple on Monday, amidst grand celebrations in the town.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah viewed the live telecast of the ceremony at Birla Mandir in the national capital.
Union Minister Meenakashi Lekhi, also in attendance at the temple, was visibly moved while watching the telecast.
After the completion of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde played the ‘Dhol’ at the Kopineshwar temple in Thane.
Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel observed the ceremony in Shilaj, Ahmedabad, while Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik did so at his official residence in Bhubaneswar.
Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai watched the live streaming of the ceremony.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan celebrated the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla by igniting fireworks, expressing his joy over the event.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saw the unveiling of the Ram Lalla idol after an hour-long series of rituals.
Prime Minister Modi entered the temple premises with a silver ‘chattar’ (umbrella) atop a red folded dupatta. Clad in a golden kurta paired with a cream dhoti and patka, he took the ‘sankalp’ for the “pran pratishtha ceremony” before proceeding to the sanctum sanctorum for the rituals.
Inside the sanctum sanctorum during the rituals were RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
As the ceremony unfolded, devotees and guests joyously chanted ‘Jai Sri Ram.’
To add to the spectacle, army helicopters showered flower petals on the temple premises during the consecration.
