More than 60,000 students enthusiastically participated in a nationwide painting competition leading up to Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024. This unique initiative involves an interactive session with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aiming to assist students in dealing with the stress associated with exams. The competition, organised on January 23, was held across 657 Kendriya Vidyalayas and 122 Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS) in 774 districts nationwide.
Themed around exam mantras from the book “Exam Warriors” authored by PM Modi, the event also paid homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary, observed as ‘Parakram Diwas.’ The competition sought to inspire students by reflecting on the life of this great leader and instilling in them a sense of patriotism.
Along with the painting competition, various activities were organized in schools, including a marathon run, music competition, meme competition, Nukkad Natak, poster making, and Yoga-cum-meditation sessions, spanning from January 12 (National Youth Day) to January 23.
The 7th edition of PM Modi’s interactive program, “Pariksha Pe Charcha” has witnessed an impressive registration of 2.26 crore participants on the MyGov portal. Scheduled for January 29, the event will take place in a town-hall format at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, starting at 11 am. Approximately 3,000 participants will have the opportunity to interact with the Prime Minister during the program.
Special guests for the main event include two students and a teacher from each state and Union territory, along with winners of the Kala Utsav. Additionally, 100 students from the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) from various parts of the country will attend the event for the first time since its inception.
Pariksha Pe Charcha aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s broader initiative to create a stress-free atmosphere for young individuals, particularly during exam periods.
