Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in the Sashakt Nari – Viksit Bharat programme at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Pusa, New Delhi, on March 11. The event will include agricultural drone demonstrations conducted by Namo Drone Didis from 11 different locations nationwide, showcasing advancements in technology aimed at boosting agricultural productivity.

During the programme, Prime Minister Modi will personally hand over drones to 1,000 Namo Drone Didis as part of his commitment to empowering women, particularly in rural areas. In addition to recognizing the achievements of Lakhpati Didis who have excelled with the support of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission, Prime Minister Modi will also facilitate Bank Linkage Camps in each district where around Rs 8,000 crore in bank loans will be disbursed to Self Help Groups (SHGs) at subsidized interest rates. Furthermore, approximately Rs 2,000 crore from the Capitalization Support Fund will be distributed to SHGs to further bolster their initiatives.
