PM unveils multiple development projects worth Rs 21,400 crores in Aurangabad, Bihar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated to the nation and laid the foundation stone for multiple projects worth Rs 21,400 crores in Aurangabad. The projects, spanning various sectors including road, railway, and Namami Gange, signify a new era of progress for the state. Among the highlights of the day were the inauguration of several National Highway projects worth over Rs 18,100 crores, including the construction of a six-lane bridge across the River Ganga.

Addressing the audience, PM Modi emphasized the historic significance of Aurangabad, a land steeped in the legacy of freedom fighters and renowned personalities like Bihar Vibhuti Shri Anugrah Narayan. He underscored the government’s commitment to completing projects on time, highlighting the importance of infrastructure development in shaping Bihar’s future. Notable projects such as the Amas-Darbhanga four-lane corridor and the Danapur-Bihta elevated road were mentioned, along with the foundation laying of the Ara Bypass rail line.

PM Modi also paid homage to Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur, recently honored with the Bharat Ratna, acknowledging his contributions to Bihar’s pride. He expressed joy over the establishment of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the overwhelming participation of Bihar’s citizens in the historic event.

Reflecting on the government’s focus on inclusive development, PM Modi reiterated the importance of empowering the poor, Dalits, tribals, and marginalized communities. He highlighted key initiatives such as the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Ujjwala Gas connections, and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, which have benefitted millions in Bihar. The Prime Minister also emphasized the government’s commitment to providing access to clean water, healthcare, and irrigation facilities to the people of Bihar.

PM Modi concluded his address by reaffirming his pledge to fulfill the promises of Bihar’s development, peace, rule of law, and empowerment of women. He expressed confidence in creating a prosperous Bihar in the government’s third term, urging the people to celebrate the occasion as a festival of development.

The day’s events witnessed the presence of Governor of Bihar, Shri Rajendra V Arlekar, Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, and other dignitaries, signaling a collective effort towards Bihar’s progress. The inauguration of road and railway projects, along with initiatives under Namami Gange and the foundation stone laying of Unity Mall in Patna, underscored the government’s commitment to transforming Bihar’s socio-economic landscape.
