Pavithra Jayaram, known for her portrayal of Tilottama in the hit Telugu television series “Trinayani,” died Sunday in a road accident in Telangana’s Mahbubnagar district.
The accident occurred as Pavithra was returning from Bengaluru to Hyderabad, with the actress succumbing to her injuries on the spot, as confirmed by the police.
“Her car lost control and hit the divider before crashing into a bus,” police said.
According to media reports, Pavithra lost her life in the accident, while her cousin and driver sustained severe injuries.
Pavithra started her acting career with the ‘Jokali’ serial in the Kannada TV industry. In 2018, she made her debut in the Telugu TV industry with ‘Ninne Pelladatha’. She gained popularity with the TV serial ‘Tilottama’.
