The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was leading in 13 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan, according to data released by the Election Commission of India. BJP candidate Manju Sharma won the Jaipur parliamentary constituency.
The Congress meanwhile was leading in eight seats, while the Communist Party of India (Marxist) – CPI(M), Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLTP), and Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) were leading in one seat each in the state, which has a total of 25 seats in the lower house of Parliament.
As per latest trends, the BJP was leading in Ajmer, Alwar, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Chittorgarh, Jaipur Rural, Jalore, Jhalawar-Baran, Jodhpur, Pali, Rajsamand, Udaipur and Kota.
The Congress was leading in Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Barmer, Bharatpur, Churu, Dausa, Ganganagar, Jhunjhunu, and Karauli-Dholpur.
The RLP was leading in Nagaur, CPI (M) in Sikar, and the Bharat Adivasi Party in Banswara.
The BJP contested all 25 seats in the state this time. Under the seat-sharing agreement of the INDIA bloc, the Congress contested from 22 seats, while its allies, the Bharat Adivasi Party, Communist Party of India (Marxist), and the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP), contested one seat each.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the NDA swept all 25 seats in the state. The BJP, the dominant partner in the NDA, won 24 seats, while its ally, the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP), won one seat. The Congress failed to win any seats in the elections. This marked the second consecutive time that the BJP had secured a clean sweep of all 25 seats in the state, having done so in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections as well.
Exit polls, released after the seventh and last phase of Lok Sabha elections, predicted that the NDA would win 18-23 seats, while the Congress-led INDIA bloc would win 2-7 seats.
