Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended birthday greetings to Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, praising his longstanding efforts to empower the poor and underprivileged and his contribution to strengthening the MSME sector.
Manjhi, a Member of Parliament from Gaya, is serving as the Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. He served as the Chief Minister of Bihar from May 20, 2014, to February 20, 2015, and is the founding president of the Hindustani Awam Morcha.
In a post on X, PM Modi said , “Greetings to Union Minister Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi Ji on his birthday. In his many years in public life, he has always worked to empower the poor and underprivileged. He is at the forefront of adding momentum to the MSME sector, which has a key role to play in making India prosperous and self-reliant. Praying for his long life and good health.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended his greetings to Manjhi and highlighted his role in strengthening the country’s micro, small and medium enterprises.
“Heartfelt birthday wishes to Union Minister Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi Ji. You are continuously playing an important role in accelerating the country’s micro, small, and medium enterprises and empowering the entrepreneurs associated with them. I pray to God for your good health and long life,” Shah said.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also wished Manjhi on the occasion.
“Heartfelt birthday greetings to the Honorable Union Minister Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi Ji. May you be blessed with excellent health and a long and illustrious life by the grace of Lord Shri Ram; this is my prayer,” Adityanath said.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, in a post on X, said, “Heartiest birthday greetings to Hon’ble Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi ji! Wishing you a long life and good health.”
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi wished Manjhi good health, happiness and continued success in public service.
“Warm birthday greetings to Union Minister Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi ji. Wishing you good health, happiness and continued success in your service to the nation. Praying for your long, healthy life and many more years of dedicated public service,” Joshi said.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also extended her greetings, highlighting Manjhi’s long public career and his work for disadvantaged sections of society.
“Heartfelt birthday wishes to the Honorable Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi. Your long public life has been dedicated to the welfare of the deprived and the working class. I pray to God for your excellent health, long life, and continued service to the people,” Gupta said.
