Abu Dhabi: The 75th Republic Day of India resonated with enthusiasm and patriotic fervor across the United Arab Emirates, as the Indian community came together for grand celebrations at key diplomatic missions.
In Abu Dhabi, the Embassy of India and in Dubai, the Consulate General of India became focal points for the vibrant festivities, where members of the Indian community participated in large numbers. The spirit of Republic Day reverberated prominently in the northern emirates of the UAE, where various Indian Associations and centers organized flag hoisting ceremonies, demonstrating unity and pride among the Indian expatriates.
The cultural tapestry woven into the celebrations featured a range of performances, including the Patriotic Sanskrit group song by Sanskrit Bharti, the Surya Vandana salute to the Sun God in Bharatnatyam style, and various other talented community members showcasing their abilities.
The climax of the celebrations is set to take place in the evening of January 26th at Taj Exotica, The Palm, featuring a National Day Reception showcasing a vibrant cultural program under the theme “One Nation One Voice.” The event will bring to the forefront a variety of performances, which includes Garba, Laavrii, Contemporary Kathak, and Semi-Classical Indian dance rooted in Kathak and Bharatanatyam.
