The second round of the India-US Dialogue on Africa is currently underway in Washington DC, with key representatives from both nations participanting.
The dialogue’s core objective is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and perspectives, fostering institutional, technical, and bilateral synergies for collaborative efforts in Africa.
Emphasis is placed on identifying developmental projects and cooperation programs that align with African priorities, utilising the strengths and resources of both India and the US.
Notably, this dialogue marks the first formal engagement between India and the US on Africa following the African Union’s inclusion as a permanent member of the G20 during India’s G20 presidency.
