After the Grammy-winning band Coldplay announced dates for their ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ in India, fans have been ecstatic about seeing their favorite musicians perform live. The Mumbai concerts are scheduled for January 18 and 19, 2025, at DY Patil Sports Stadium. Due to overwhelming demand, a third show has been added on January 21.
Coldplay shared the updated dates on their official X account, saying: “Due to phenomenal demand, a third Mumbai date has been added at DY Patil Stadium for January 21, 2025.”
Fans have eagerly awaited Coldplay’s return since their last visit in 2016, and excitement is building.
The band will perform tracks from their Album of the Year-nominated Music of the Spheres, along with new singles ‘We Pray’ and ‘feelslikeimfallinginlove’ from their upcoming release Moon Music. Fans can also expect classics like ‘Yellow’, ‘The Scientist’, ‘Clocks’, ‘Fix You’, ‘Viva La Vida’, ‘Paradise’, ‘A Sky Full of Stars’, and ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’.
Coldplay will also offer a limited number of ‘Infinity Tickets’, priced at approximately Rs 2000 each (equivalent to €20). These will go on sale on November 22, 2024, and allow fans to purchase tickets in pairs for the concert.
Since launching in March 2022, the ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ has sold over 10 million tickets globally. The upcoming shows will also be held in Abu Dhabi, Seoul, and Hong Kong.
