Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday assured people that the Uttar Pradesh government would resolve their grievances, as he held a ‘Janta Darshan’ at the Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur for the second consecutive day.
CM Adityanath met around 150 people from different districts and heard their complaints, assuring them that the government was committed to resolving their problems. “Do not worry. The government will ensure that every person’s problem is resolved with commitment,” he told the visitors.
The Chief Minister directed officials to act promptly and sensitively to ensure everyone gets justice without discrimination and that all eligible beneficiaries receive welfare scheme benefits.
He also directed authorities to take strict action against land mafias and influential people involved in encroachment.
During the programme held outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan at the Gorakhnath temple, the Chief Minister forwarded the applications submitted by the people to the concerned officials and instructed them to ensure their prompt and satisfactory disposal. He issued specific directions to expedite the resolution of matters related to revenue and law and order.
Some people also sought financial assistance for treatment of serious illnesses. CM Adityanath asked officials to promptly prepare estimates for the advanced treatment of those in need and make them available to the government.
He said the government would provide funds from its discretionary fund as soon as it received the estimates.
