Several parts of Rajasthan witnessed rainfall and hailstorms over the past two days under the influence of a Western Disturbance, leading to a decline in temperatures, the weather department said on Monday.
Rainfall was reported in several districts, while Jaipur and Ajmer experienced hailstorms, bringing cooler conditions across parts of the state.
In Sawai Madhopur, intermittent rainfall occurred between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Monday, raising concerns among farmers over possible crop damage.
Farmers in the Khandar region of Sawai Madhopur expressed concern that further adverse weather could affect crops nearing maturity.
On Sunday, rainfall was recorded in Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Baran and Ajmer, while hailstorms were reported in Jaipur and Ajmer.
Cloudy skies and reduced sunshine kept daytime temperatures below normal in several areas, while cooler nights brought a noticeable dip in minimum temperatures.
According to weather department data, minimum temperatures fell below 20 degrees Celsius in more than 10 cities across Rajasthan on Sunday.
Mount Abu recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 15.3 degrees Celsius, followed by Sirohi at 16 degrees Celsius and Fatehpur at 17 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Centre in Jaipur has forecast dry weather across Rajasthan for the next three to four days from Monday, with largely clear skies and sunshine expected to return to most areas.
However, another Western Disturbance is likely to become active around October 22-23, potentially bringing a fresh change in weather conditions across the state.
