Global celebrations mark inauguration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya

Hindu communities around the world joyfully celebrated the historic opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, uniting in a display of devotion and cultural pride. The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony garnered immense enthusiasm, bringing people from diverse corners of the globe together in shared festivities.

Israeli Ambassador to India, Naor Gilon, conveyed heartfelt greetings to the people of India before the ceremony, expressing eagerness to visit the temple at the earliest. This highlighted the international resonance of the momentous occasion.

In Nepal, the Janaki Temple, considered the abode of Goddess Sita, glowed with lights as locals celebrated Deepawali in preparation for the Pran Pratistha, highlighting the significance of the event transcending borders.

The Indian diaspora in New York illuminated Times Square with a portrayal of Lord Ram, accompanied by soul-stirring Ram Bhajans. Members of the ‘Overseas Friends of Ram Mandir’ shared traditional sweets, fostering unity and cultural heritage.

A monumental 25-foot statue of Lord Hanuman arrived at the Om Sri Sai Balaji temple and culture center in Monroe, New Jersey, adding to the excitement leading up to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

In London, the Brahmrishi Mission Ashram resonated with prayers and celebrations. The ‘Mangal Kalash’ from Ayodhya, currently touring the UK, reached the Slough Hindu Temple, symbolizing spiritual connectivity.

In a historic moment for Queretaro, Mexico, the city inaugurated its first Lord Ram temple. The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, conducted by an American priest alongside Mexican hosts, featured idols specially brought from India, highlighting the global reach of this cultural milestone.

In London, the Indian diaspora organized a spirited car rally with over 325 participants, showcasing their solidarity and joy on this auspicious occasion.
