Special trains have started running between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra from today (Wednesday). This train will make a total of four trips in both directions. Northern Railway said in a release on Tuesday that in view of the convenience of railway passengers and extra congestion, it has been decided to run special trains between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.
Train number 04071 New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Gati Shakti Special train will depart from New Delhi at 11.15 pm on September 6 and reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 11.25 am the next day. In the return direction, the 04072 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra New Delhi Gati Shakti Special train will depart Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 06.30 pm on September 9 and reach New Delhi at 06.50 am the next day.
This special train with economical air-conditioned class coaches will stop at Sonepat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra Jn, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi, and Uthampur stations en route in both directions.
Train number 04081 New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra special train will depart from New Delhi at 11.15 pm on September 7 and reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 11.25 am the next day. In the return direction, the 04082 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Special train will depart Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 06.30 pm on September 10th to reach New Delhi at 06.50 am the next day.
This special train, comprising air-conditioned, sleeper, and general-class coaches, will stop at Sonepat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra Jn, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi, and Uthampur stations en route in both directions.
