In a bid to promote investment in the state of Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, has embarked on a high-profile mission to the United Arab Emirates as part of the ‘Invest in Uttarakhand’ campaign. The Chief Minister’s visit aims to encourage industrialists and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) in the UAE to explore investment opportunities in Uttarakhand, known for its stunning landscapes, spiritual heritage, and rich cultural significance.
Upon his arrival in the UAE, Chief Minister Dhami actively participated in a community event hosted by the Uttarakhand expatriate community. During this event, he explored the possibility of extending the ‘Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana’ to benefit Uttarakhand expatriates. This significant gathering was organized by the Uttarakhand Association UAE and the Oasis Global Society, and it drew prominent figures from the Indian diaspora, including Devendar Koranga, Sanjay Thapp, Chandrashekhar Bhatia, and Naresh Pulwani from GBF Middle East.
Mr. Dhami emphasized the importance of Uttarakhand as both the “land of Gods” and a hub for yoga and spirituality. He also underlined the state’s role in preserving India’s cultural heritage, making it an attractive destination for investments.”We are proud that our roots are deeply connected to Uttarakhand. I appeal to all international migrants from Uttarakhand to visit their homeland at least once a year. This will not only help them reconnect with their roots but also inspire future generations to connect with their motherland,” the Chief Minister urged.
The CM will engage in a series of meetings with prominent companies and influential business figures. These meetings include discussions with organizations such as GTC Group, Haxly Group of Companies, KEF Holdings, IIFCO Sharjah, Emaar Group, Sobha Group, Sharaf Group, GEMS Group, Khamas Hospitality, Medi Q, Niligiri, Emirates NBD, Concept Brands, Apparel Group, Ezms, Arab and India Spices LLC, Mangalam Group, and Al Rostamani Logistics. These discussions aimed at fostering investment opportunities in the picturesque Indian state of Uttarakhand, known for its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.
