An Indian non-governmental entities delegation(NGE), led by the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe), visited the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTIP) in Sharjah.
The delegation, composed of Indian space start-ups and industry experts, discussed the latest space sector reforms announced by the Indian Government, promoting independent space activities within the private sector. IN-SPACe, as an autonomous agency, facilitates and authorizes space endeavors by NGEs.
During the visit, SRTIP showcased its innovative science and technology initiatives, expressing eagerness for collaborative ventures in the space sector. Both parties exchanged insights and commitments, with IN-SPACe offering support to connect SRTIP with India’s burgeoning space start-up ecosystem. The delegation also explored the Indian pavilion at the Dubai Airshow, further fostering international partnerships. The delegation also met the Indian Ambassador to the UAE Sunjay Sudhir.
