The 2024 World University Ranking: Asia by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) is out. The latest edition of the rankings features 148 Indian universities, an all-time high, and the largest representation for any single country. India has outpaced China, with its 133 universities, and Japan, which has 96 universities. Last year, India had 118 universities on the list. In total, 856 universities are listed in the rankings.
