India International Science Festival 2023 promotes global scientific cooperation

The 9th edition of the India International Science Festival (IISF-2023) held in Faridabad showcased India’s scientific prowess, attracting delegates from 21 countries and fostering international collaboration to create enduring connections.
 
Representatives from diverse nations such as Argentina, Australia, Japan, and the USA actively participated in various events, contributing as speakers, panelists, and contributors. The event served as a platform for establishing long-term associations between these countries and India.
 
Notable institutions, including the University of Tsukuba (Japan), Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) – Cambodia, University of South Australia, and the National Innovation Foundation (NIF) – India, were among the participants.
 
The NIF, an autonomous institution under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, played a crucial role in initiating collaborations. Key partnerships were formed with the Ministry of Economy, Republic of Armenia; Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF), Commonwealth of Australia; Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia (YIM), Malaysia; and University of Nairobi & Moi University – Republic of Kenya, among others.
 
These collaborations are expected to unlock opportunities across various domains, facilitating access to cutting-edge global infrastructure, capacity building, technology exchange, joint research, and industry engagement. The partnerships aim to bolster India’s Science, Technology, and Innovation relationships on a global scale.
