PM Modi meets Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a significant meeting today with Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who serves as Vice President, Prime Minister, Defence Minister, and the Ruler of Dubai. The meeting aimed to discuss various aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

During their discussions, both leaders covered a wide array of topics, including trade, investment, technology, space, education, and people-to-people ties. They expressed contentment with the growing economic and commercial relations between India and the UAE, highlighting the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and the recently signed Bilateral Investment Treaty as pivotal factors.

PM Modi extended gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his generosity towards the Indian community residing in Dubai. Both leaders recognized the significant contributions of the Indian Diaspora to Dubai’s development as a global hub for trade, services, and tourism.

Furthermore, PM Modi expressed profound appreciation for the allocation of land by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for the establishment of an Indian Community Hospital in Dubai. The hospital aims to provide affordable healthcare services to Indian blue-collar workers.

In a gesture of strengthening ties, PM Modi extended an invitation to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to visit India at his earliest convenience.
