Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov is set to arrive in India for a working visit focused on strengthening trade, economic, and cultural ties. Manturov’s visit will feature key engagements in Mumbai and New Delhi from November 11 to 12, aimed at bolstering cooperation across multiple sectors between Russia and India.
On November 11, Manturov will attend the plenary session of the Russian-Indian Business Forum in Mumbai. The forum, organized by the Business Council for Cooperation with India and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), will explore opportunities for enhanced collaboration in industrial sectors, transport and logistics, finance, digital innovation, and regional partnerships.
The forum is expected to deepen connections between entrepreneurs from both countries through targeted thematic sessions.
The following day, Manturov will co-chair the 25th Session of the Intergovernmental Russian-Indian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation in New Delhi, alongside India’s Minister of External Affairs Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
In addition to this high-level meeting, Manturov has planned several bilateral meetings with Indian counterparts to discuss mutual interests and advance strategic cooperation.
