Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca Developers, announced on Friday that Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump will visit India in early 2025 to launch a series of iconic ‘Trump Tower’ projects.

The launches are slated to take place between March and June of next year, with plans to develop six additional Trump Towers in cities across India, including Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Noida.

Currently, there are four Trump Tower properties in India—located in Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram, and Kolkata. With the upcoming launches, India will surpass the United States in the number of Trump Towers, holding the distinction of having the highest concentration of these luxury high-rises globally.

Mehta, who is the Trump Organization’s real estate partner in India, shared insights during a virtual interaction with ANI. He explained that the project’s inception was influenced by his personal connection with the Trump family. “I was studying at the Wharton School of Finance in the US when Donald Trump Jr. was a junior to me. Through a mentor who also guided Trump Jr., I met Donald Trump’s sons, and our friendship began,” Mehta said.

The Trump juniors—sons of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump—are set to oversee the expansion of the Trump brand in India, further solidifying the country’s position as a key market for luxury real estate.

Mehta revealed that the new Trump Towers will be developed in collaboration with local partners, with Tribeca handling design, product specifications, and customer relations. “The land will belong to the local partner, but Tribeca will manage the design and customer handling,” he said.

The real estate market in India has shown remarkable growth, with luxury properties, such as the Trump Tower in Gurugram, experiencing a surge in value. “The price per unit in Gurugram has almost doubled in the last three years,” Mehta added that the price per square foot has risen from Rs 15,500-16,000 to Rs 33,000, with total unit prices now ranging from Rs 11-24 crore.

Mehta further emphasized that the luxury real estate sector in India is booming, with demand reaching an all-time high.

Additionally, Mehta hinted at plans for future Trump projects outside India, stating that his company is in discussions with a neighboring island nation’s government to develop a Trump hotel.
