The highly anticipated SteelFab Expo 2025 began today at the Expo Centre Sharjah, featuring the largest-ever Indian participation with over 35 companies under the Confederation of Indian Industry India Pavilion. This milestone highlights India’s growing prominence in the global metalworking and fabrication sectors and strengthens its industrial ties with the UAE and the wider Middle East.
Running until January 16, the event organised with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) brings together over 600 global brands and 350 exhibitors from 33 countries, including India, the UK, Germany, Italy, the US, China, and the Netherlands. Indian companies are showcasing advanced technologies in power tools, machine tools, welding and cutting systems, and tube and pipe solutions. India has successfully carved out its space in the West Asian market, which was predominantly served by South Korean and European suppliers, demonstrating its increasing competitiveness in meeting regional industrial needs.
The expo features live demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies, a welding competition, and the latest advancements in laser metal cutting, pipe manufacturing, and material handling solutions. The event attracts top manufacturers, producers, and suppliers from the steel industry, alongside major entrepreneurs and investors.
Indian participation at the expo reinforces the country’s significant role in driving industrial growth in the UAE. Known for high-quality and cost-effective manufacturing, Indian firms are presenting solutions that meet the region’s growing demand for advanced metalworking technologies.
