With the exam season in full swing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called on students to watch the latest episode of Pariksha Pe Charcha on February 18 at 11 a.m., where top-performing students will share their strategies for overcoming exam stress and anxiety.
“Hear it from the best experts—the Exam Warriors who have successfully overcome exam stress and anxiety. Tomorrow’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ features my young friends who will share their experiences,” PM Modi posted on X.
The official MyGovIndia handle also promoted the episode, stating, “Catch the latest episode of #ParikshaPeCharcha2025, where toppers spill the tea on beating exam stress, anxiety, and staying chill under pressure. Don’t miss it! February 18, 11 a.m.” A short video preview introduced the toppers who would share their inspiring journeys and practical tips for managing pressure.
The guest lineup for this year includes notable achievers: Radhika Singhal (CBSE Topper 2022-2023), Shuchismita Adhikari (ISC Exam Topper 2024), Brahmacharimayum Nistha (PPC Anchor and MBBS student from Manipur University), and Ashish Kumar Verma (PPC Anchor and IIT Delhi student).
During the show, the toppers offered valuable advice to students. Radhika Singhal emphasized focusing on learning rather than results, calling exams “just a formality.” Shuchismita Adhikari highlighted the importance of extracurricular activities, noting that they build confidence and reduce stress.
Ashish Kumar Verma shared his personal approach, stating, “Eliminate the problems, focus on time management, strategize, and move forward.” The toppers also offered power mantras for success, advising students to “focus on weaker subjects, stay happy but not satisfied, and share their feelings when stressed.”
The episode comes amid the ongoing CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams, which began on February 15. ICSE Class 12 exams started on February 17, with Class 10 exams set to begin tomorrow. The ISC Class 12 exams commenced on February 13.
Earlier in the day, renowned sports personalities joined students in an interactive session. Indian rifle shooter and Paralympic double gold medalist Avani Lekhara encouraged students to maintain consistency, saying, “Daily study with complete focus helps retention. Breathing exercises can help you stay calm.”
Paris Paralympics silver medalist and IAS officer Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj inspired students to pursue their passions: “Ask yourself if you can reach the top 5% in your chosen field. If your heart says yes, your parents will also support you.”
Boxing legend and Olympic bronze medalist MC Mary Kom motivated students to face challenges head-on: “To overcome challenges, you must be strong. I became a champion after facing many hardships. If I can do it, why can’t you?”
The Pariksha Pe Charcha episode was broadcast across platforms, including the Prime Minister’s X profile, PMO’s social media, and the PM’s YouTube channel.
Since its launch in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha has become an annual event where PM Modi interacts with students, teachers, and parents, offering guidance on staying stress-free during exams. The event is organized by the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education.
The first three editions were held in a town-hall format in New Delhi. The fourth edition was conducted online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, while the fifth, sixth, and seventh editions returned to a live audience format at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi.
