In a strong statement following the terror attack in Pahalgam and escalating hostilities along the India-Pakistan border, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) extended full support to the Indian government and armed forces, praising the launch of “Operation Sindoor”—a mission aimed at targeting Pakistan-sponsored terrorists.
“We congratulate the central government leadership and our armed forces for the decisive action taken under ‘Operation Sindoor’ against Pakistan-sponsored terrorists and their supporting ecosystem, following the cowardly attack on unarmed tourists in Pahalgam. This operation to deliver justice to the aggrieved families and the entire country after the brutal massacre of Hindu tourists has significantly boosted national morale and self-respect,” the RSS said in its official statement.
Highlighting the necessity of India’s response, the organization added, “We fully support the military action being taken against terrorists, their infrastructure, and support systems in Pakistan. Such steps are necessary and inevitable for the security of our country. In this hour of national crisis, the entire nation stands with the government and armed forces in both spirit and action.”
The RSS also condemned the recent shelling by Pakistan, which targeted religious sites and civilian settlements along the border. “We strongly denounce the attacks carried out by the Pakistani army on religious places and civilian areas along Bharat’s border and express our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of these savage and inhuman assaults,” the statement read.
Calling for national unity and civic responsibility, the RSS urged the public to strictly follow government directives and remain vigilant against divisive forces.
“In these challenging times, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh appeals to all citizens to fully comply with instructions issued by the government and administration. At the same time, as part of our sacred civic duty, we must remain cautious and ensure that no conspiracy by anti-national elements succeeds in disturbing social unity and harmony.”
“All citizens are urged to demonstrate their patriotism, cooperate with the army and civic administration in every possible way, and strengthen efforts to preserve national unity and security,” the statement added.
