The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai have introduced an online appointment portal for passport, visa and attestation services to streamline consular services and reduce waiting time for applicants.
The missions said passport, visa and attestation services are currently being provided directly on a walk-in basis from the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate in Dubai for administrative reasons. However, applicants can now book appointments through book.passportindiauae.com to avail the services.
Applicants with prior appointments will be allowed entry 15 minutes before their scheduled time. To avoid crowding, only applicants will be permitted inside the Embassy and Consulate premises, except in the case of minor applicants, where both parents are required to be present.
At the Embassy in Abu Dhabi, applicants seeking Consular, Passport and Visa (CPV) services should enter through the main gate on Al Safarat Street. Queries related to document delivery and other consular matters will be handled at the Consular Wing located at Unit No. 101, First Floor, Guardian Tower (Technip Building), Al Ishirah Street.
At the Consulate General of India in Dubai, applicants for passport and visa services should use Gate No. 2, while those seeking attestation services should enter through Gate No. 1. Queries related to document delivery, previously submitted applications and labour issues will also be addressed at Gate No. 1.
Limited walk-in services will continue from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at both missions. Priority will be given to newborn cases and applications for Emergency Certificates, while other applicants have been encouraged to book appointments to avoid long waiting times.
