Both the President’s Medal for Gallantry (PMG) and Medal for Gallantry (GM) acknowledge Rare Conspicuous Acts of Gallantry and Conspicuous Acts of Gallantry, respectively, involving saving lives, protecting property, preventing crimes, and arresting criminals.
